As a brand committed to sustainable fashion in Hong Kong, we source all our deadstock fabrics locally. The sustainable fashion movement in Hong Kong is growing, with an increasing number of consumers seeking ethical and eco-friendly clothing options. Our use of deadstock fabric further reduces waste in the fashion industry.

By wearing and supporting our collection Places you also support local Hong Kong business and economy as we used high-quality deadstock fabrics that are handpicked and sourced locally in Hong Kong and we work with the most wonderful Hong Kong family-run workshop who help to bring to life our designs and ideas, who also have years and years of experience (more than I do) to advise on the best stitching techniques.

In each garment, a lot of love and detail are put into creating slow fashion pieces, which are also made in small batches. Once the fabric runs out, it's gone, and we don't have the same colour or piece again. I personally wear, test and wash all our samples multiple times, and we make needed adjustments throughout the process (some samples have taken months and months, as every detail is so important), but we are proud of sustainable fashion we bring to you, as we know you appreciate quality sustainable clothing and you are the main reason MiliMilu was created!
